Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) is a potential triage tool for tuberculosis (TB) that could allow non-specialist healthcare workers to guide decision-making in TB management. In this touchRESPIRATORY interview, we speak with Dr. Veronique Suttels (Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois, Lausanne, Switzerland) to discuss the intermediate analysis of the study investigating POCUS in Benin and the potential impact POCUS could have in the detection of tuberculosis in Sub-Saharan Africa.
