The International Primary Care Respiratory Group (IPCRG), is proud to host the 8th IPCRG Scientific Meeting in Brașov, Romania, on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 April 2025. This event, in partnership with the RespiRO team and the Transilvania University of Brașov promises to bring together researchers, innovators, and industry leaders to advance respiratory care in primary health settings.

In her welcome letter, IPCRG President Prof. Amanda Barnard shared her excitement about the upcoming meeting:

“The IPCRG promises a high-quality and engaging scientific programme focused on new respiratory research and developments relevant to primary health care. It will give the opportunity for senior researchers, leaders, innovators, and early career researchers to exchange knowledge and ideas.”

The 8th IPCRG Scientific Meeting will feature cutting-edge respiratory research, generating discussion among primary care professionals. Following the successful 2023 Scientific Meeting in Munich and the 2024 World Conference in Athens, this event continues the tradition of supporting early career researchers while strengthening global partnerships.

The programme will include:

  • FRESHAIR4Life Annual Meeting on Thursday, 10 April 2025
  • The IPCRG Implementation Science Research School on Saturday afternoon, 12 April 2025
  • The highly anticipated Spirometry Simplified course, building on its inaugural success in May 2024

The registration platform is now live, allowing attendees to secure spots for the meeting, the Research School, and the Spirometry Simplified course. Early registration is strongly encouraged to take advantage of special-rate accommodations and reduced travel costs. Abstract submissions can be made until 10th January 2024. The deadline for registration is March 2025.
